These are the simple submission guidelines for Publishworthy. Please see our terms of service for more details. By submitting your information through the registration form, you are agreeing to the terms of service:
Your Article Body with Title– A minimum of 375 words, and a maximum of 750 words. Article Body may include two links to your site or whatever site you are writing on behalf of. These links MUST be in the lower fold of the article, preferably in the last paragraph.
Titling Your Article – The minimum number of words in the title of an article is 3. The maximum number of characters allowed is 60. ALL first letters in each word in the title MUST be capitalized.
Example: Your Title Should Read Like This
Your Author Bio / Signature – This needs to be 200 words or less, and you will be able to include a “do-follow” link to your website under profile edit. Your pen name will be crawled by search engines. You MUST use a first and last name in the “Display Name Publicly” field. Pen names are fine, but company names, initials, or only your first OR last name is not. It is necessary to generate an author avatar using Gravatar Services. Your avatar will be linked to this email, so be certain that it is your address. A confirmation will be sent to this address. In order to submit, you must include the author bio. PLEASE NOTE: Please use the author bio information to place your author details, and NOT in the article body.
Tagging, Categorizing, Excerpt and “All in One SEO Pack” – All authors MUST use these features. Your article may be categorized into no more than two categories. All articles must be properly tagged, both in the WordPress application and the “All in One SEO Pack” found at the bottom of the post page. The “All in One SEO Pack” MUST be completely filled out, with Title, excerpt, and tags. This is crucial for search engines, which is why we installed it! The Excerpt area MUST be complete with at least three sentences (most authors will use the first paragraph of the article).
Subscribing to Comments for Your Post – While it is not required, it is highly recommended that you subscribe to the comments for your posts (We would, of course, love to have you subscribe to the entire Feed!) By subscribing to your comment posts, you can engage with the reader, which is a proven method to lend authority to your article, and you as a writer…shows you care!
